This annual scholarship is named in honor of Irmgard Schlenker, who was instrumental in establishing the STV German Language School. It is awarded every June to two adults and two children who have completed a German class at the STV German Language School in the past two years. The awards will be given in the form of a credit for one German language class to be taken during the next academic year (August through June). Applications are available in March each year and are due by regular mail by June 1. Value: the cost of one session

STV-GLS Rustmann Language & Culture Scholarships

These two annual scholarships, offered by the STV German Language School and the German-American Cultural Center–Library, will be awarded by April 15 each year. This scholarship is open to high school seniors in the greater Sacramento area who have taken and successfully completed the required minimum number of German courses in high school, at a community college, at an accredited summer program, or at the STV German Language School. Applications are available at the beginning of each year and are due via regular mail by March 31st. Value: each scholarship: $500.00
