Whether you’d like to learn German, make sure your kids stay in touch with their heritage, or just learn more about German culture and cuisine – you’re in the right place. Our language school offers German classes for all ages and levels.
Adult Classes
Our offer classes for children range from ages 0 -12 years. From our Krabbelgruppe, where toddlers and parents learn songs, rhymes and rhythms together, to classes for older children that bring in more academic elements and students practice using what they have learned.

Culture & Cooking Classes
Does your mouth water when you think of Schnitzel, Späzle, and Apfelstrudel? One of our German Language teachers also happens to be a great cook, and she loves to pass her abilities on to all those who would like to learn.
Heritage Speakers
If your family has a child who speaks German with a parent or has spent part of their life in a German speaking country, he or she could enroll in our Heritage Speaker class. The class is for 7+ year-olds and emphasizes German reading, writing, geography, science, music, play, and so much more.

The German Language School is more than just German classes. It’s a community of German-Americans, German expats and people who just like Germany and German culture, right here in Sacramento.
Our monthly Stammtisch meet-ups and annual Maifest event here in Sacramento are open to anyone who wants to get in touch.
