We are very excited that the German Language School Stammtisch are a success.
"A Stammtisch (German for "regulars' table") is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis, and also the usually large, often round table around which the group meets. A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly get-together." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stammtisch)
The German Language School Stammtisch is open to all STV students and teachers, members of the GLS, the STV, and other sections, as well as their spouses and guests.
There is only one condition: You need to speak German! No matter what level you are on, there will be plenty of native German speakers to help you along, so this is the perfect opportunity to practice your conversational skills in an informal atmosphere. You can socialize with your classmates outside of class, get to know your teachers and those working and volunteering behind the scenes of the German Language School.
We will provide drinks and something to nibble on. If you are not a fan of drinking from the bottle, please BYOM (bring your own mug)!
Admission is free, but we ask for a small donation for the drinks.
Check back or see your instructor for upcoming times!
Kommen Sie, reden Sie, trinken Sie und lachen Sie mit uns. Prost!
